I’m Jowayreya Imam, a London-based interior design student, currently studying at the University of the Arts London (UAL) from 2022 to 2025. My journey began at Cairo English School, where the International Baccalaureate program nurtured my creative and critical thinking—skills that now underpin every aspect of my design practice.

My design ethos is rooted in visual storytelling, atmosphere building, cultural nuance, and the pursuit of a space’s essence—its energy, identity, and genius loci. These values have taken shape through a wide spectrum of creative exploration, from interior design projects to painting, and hands-on experience in the world of film.

I've had the opportunity to work in the art department for the Netflix series Finding Ola 2 and the Egyptian short film Quarshi—experiences that deepened my love for cinematic space-making and the emotional potential of design.

Whether I’m crafting a lived-in interior or conceptualizing a set, my goal is to design environments that speak—spaces that hold stories, spark feeling, and reflect something greater than just form. Inspired by the language of cinema, I strive to merge aesthetics with atmosphere, creating designs that linger in memory and have a unique identity.
